Valentine’s Week gives one a lot of chances to gift your loved ones with various stuff. Teddy Day becomes one such day that allows you to give your partner that reminds them of you and give them a warm hug when you are not around them.
However, these cute animated teddies in our movies made us believe that the teddies are not just a mere fluff of fibers and cotton but an expression of human emotions.
- Lots-O’-Huggin’ Bear in Toy Story 3 (2010)
Lots-O’-Huggin Bear, voiced by Ned Beatty with a raspy vocals intonation, is a fearsome, complaint monster whose anguish of being scorned by previous owner fuels a desire to make lives difficult for nice toys worldwide. So don’t be fooled by her kind demeanor or her rosy, pristine look. Lots-O’, with his squeeze-your-cares-away grin but two faces, takes a toll on Buzz and company’s aspirations in this love-showered threequel, standing as a sorrowful metaphor of toy expansion gone astray.

This generation may only know Jude Law as the womanizing jerk, Alfie. Still, it was all about Michael Caine four decades ago, who iconically played the title part in one of his most outstanding performances. Alfie’s rare piece of compassion can be credited to a son born to one of his numerous conquests, Gilda (Julia Foster). In a moment that parallels Alfie’s outlook-adjusting breakdown, he pays a visit to his child and sneaks a little white teddy bear into the cot, showcasing the very little fatherly act he could do.
- The Care Bears in The Care Bears Movie (1985)
The Care Bears Movie was among the earliest feature films based on a toy series. The Care Bears appear with their Care Bear Cousins in the animated movie, and a group of orphanage proprietors narrates the tale of their travels in Care-a-lot. The Care Bears Movie sees its namesake characters save a young sorcerer and discover love and care for a couple of lonely youngsters, with enough multicolored fur coats to fill the Forest of Feelings.
