Set in Circa 403-404 CE during the reign of Maharaja Chandragupta II Vikramaditya, the novel delves into a world of intrigue and mystery.

The story revolves around Mahakavi Kalidasa, a renowned poet-dramatist and a key member of the Gupta Empire’s Navaratnas. Tasked with leading the state intelligence network, Kalidasa works tirelessly to uncover both internal and external threats to the empire.
