From Global Productions to Building India’s Next IP Powerhouse

I’ve always believed that original stories have the power to shape culture, inspire generations, and build lasting legacies. That belief became the foundation of my entrepreneurial journey. Long before Kayhan Entertainment, I was driven by a deep curiosity to understand how people think, imagine, and tell stories. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a career in animation and visual effects, and ultimately into a mission to build original intellectual property that India can proudly create and the world can embrace.

Professionally, I had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading VFX and animation studios, including MPC, Framestore, and DNEG, contributing to internationally acclaimed productions such as Tenet, Mission: Impossible  Fallout, and Brahmāstra. Working alongside exceptional creative talent taught me the importance of quality, discipline, collaboration, and precision. More importantly, it gave me a front-row seat to the transformative power of original intellectual property and how a single idea can evolve into a global franchise that connects with audiences across generations and geographies.

Yet one question stayed with me: Why shouldn't India create the world's next iconic IPs?

India is home to an extraordinary wealth of stories, mythology, folklore, and diverse cultural traditions. Yet, for decades, much of our creative talent has been dedicated to building someone else’s intellectual property. I believed it was time to change that—to create stories that India could proudly own while making them meaningful and relevant for audiences across the world.

That vision became the foundation of Kayhan Entertainment. We didn’t set out to build just another production studio; we set out to build an IP-first creative ecosystem focused on developing original characters, worlds, and stories rooted in Indian culture with global appeal. I firmly believe that authenticity travels. When stories are emotionally honest and creatively compelling, they transcend languages, borders, and generations.

Entrepreneurship has taught me that building something original demands far more than creativity. It requires resilience, patience, adaptability, and the conviction to keep moving forward even when the path is uncertain. Talent may open doors, but it is consistency, continuous learning, and long-term thinking that build enduring businesses. Every challenge has strengthened my belief that meaningful success is created one decision, one lesson, and one step at a time.

Today, Kayhan Entertainment is building a creative ecosystem across animation, gaming, VFX, and immersive experiences, with original storytelling at its core. Alongside developing our own intellectual properties, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of creators through initiatives like MACRA, because great stories begin with empowered storytellers. For us, intellectual property is more than content—it’s about creating characters, worlds, and experiences that can grow across platforms, industries, and generations.

For me, this journey has never been just about building a company. It has always been about contributing to an ecosystem where original ideas are nurtured, creators are empowered, and Indian storytelling earns its rightful place on the global stage.

To every dreamer, creator, and entrepreneur, my message is simple: believe in your vision, embrace uncertainty, and keep building. Every worthwhile journey comes with setbacks, but resilience, curiosity, and consistency are what turn ideas into lasting impact. The stories that leave the greatest legacy are often the ones that took the courage and the patience to build.
