Dark Almond Delight
Ingredients :
- ½ cup of soaked peeled almonds
- 1 tsp dark chocolate powder or cocoa powder
- 1 cup soy milk
- 1 tsp Grated coconut
- ½ cup toasted crushed oats
- Jaggery or honey or stevia to taste
Method :
- Make a paste of the almonds
- In a blender add the almond paste, soy milk, chocolate or cocoa powder and sweetener.
- Once properly blended pour in a tall glass and sprinkle oats and coconut flakes on top.
Fiery Red Soother
Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup roasted peanut paste
- 2 roasted red bell peppers/capsicum
- 1 boiled potato diced
- 1 inch chopped ginger
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp peanut oil Salt and pepper to taste
Method :
- In a pan pour the oil and sauté the onions and ginger in it.
- Add the roasted capsicum and diced potatoes, salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 5 minutes.
- Place in a blender and puree well. Pour in another pan and add the peanut paste.
- Mix well and add water/vegetable stock to adjust the consistency.
