A healthy diet plays an important role in human health. There are so many macro and micronutrients in our diet which are very necessary for our health. Food has both impacts on our body, negative and positive. Eating a healthy diet can reduce the risk of various chronic diseases like heart diseases, Diabetes, Kidney Diseases, Overweight, Cancer etc. 

Nowadays we are living in such a scenario where we mostly prefer to eat processed and ready to eat food items that only satisfy our satiety centre not fulfil our nutritional requirement. It is very important for every individual to include nutrient rich food items in their diet such as zinc, magnesium, selenium, calcium and macronutrients protein, fat and carbohydrates that means a balanced diet. 

A well balanced diet provides energy you need to be active throughout the day. A balanced diet maintains mental health, physical health and cognitive function. The exact diversified balanced diet varies and it depends upon individual characteristics like age, gender, lifestyle and degree of physical activity. In the present time we are facing so many problems.

Nowadays child obesity is a major leading health issue in India. There are so many causes for child obesity like Family history, Lifestyle, Socioeconomic Status. Children like to eat junk food, sugary drinks  chocolates etc due to our busy schedule. Parents also like to give such types of things to their children and they don’t want to prepare home cooked items because these home cooked items need time. 

So it is very important to introduce home cooked items to the children .As like child obesity there are so many problems in India which can be removed by consuming a nutrient rich diet.

At last we can say that diet and human health both are totally correlated to each other. Therefore while eating we should be very careful.
