Ensuring a healthier, More promising future

The vision for India is bright, with rapid development in our economy, infrastructure, and talent. However,  amidst this progress, our nutrition systems lag behind. Despite the nation’s growth, 22-35% of children in affluent households suffer from stunted growth, while 14% exhibit lower IQ levels than their potential. This isn’t due to the unaffordability of healthy food but rather its availability and demand. 40% of agricultural soil lacks essential nutrients. Genetic modification has led to a 45% decline in the nutritional value of staple crops like rice and wheat over the past five decades.

Our food processing systems further exacerbate the issue, causing significant nutrient loss in vegetables before they reach consumers. Moreover, 90% of Indian households lack adequate consumption of essential nutrients like millets, protein, fruits, and nuts.

Child nutrition isn’t a choice—it’s a fundamental human right, crucial for physical and cognitive development.

The solution lies in addressing our agricultural supply chain and dietary habits, as well as implementing large-scale fortification efforts.  While challenging, providing clean, comprehensive nutrition for every child is achievable with collective support, ensuring a healthier, more promising future for all. That’s the mission we are on.
