My journey to personal growth and empowerment is a long one and has been a constant ever since I started my humble enterprise House of Hindee, back in 2019. It was purely to create an environment of empowerment, sustainability and protection of Indian craft. By deciding that in today’s time businesses have to mean more, create more and most importantly, renew and protect the Indian craft and handloom industry we established a platform for the tribal women of Himachal Pradesh to exercise their generational talent of hand spinning and hand weaving. Hindee is my sanctuary of aesthetics, and it helps me make choices daily that are of slow living, sustainable and most importantly meaningful.
This year has been phenomenally opportune for us, we have evolved into a more resilient and more effective community of textile design and established a foothold in this very small and niche sector of work. Each year brings forth new ideas, concepts and purposes for existence in businesses, this coming 2024 is exciting for us to venture out into the international world for textiles and create magic like never before.
