The business was initiated as a Gifting Solution exclusively through our Instagram Page, identified by the handle “WRAPSTAR STUDIOS-A Gifting Solution.” Initially, our focus encompassed Wrapping return Gifts for Birthdays, Theme-Based Birthday return gifts, and Corporate Gifting. During the Dussehra Festival, the idea to create candles resembling Sweets emerged when my husband and I went to purchase Sweets.
The market research phase involved exploring necessary materials and watching instructional YouTube videos. Subsequently, the decision was made to produce various types of candles, such as decorative, scented, or speciality candles.
Operating as a small business, we established our workspace at home and experimented with different wax types, fragrances, and wick sizes. In the process, we sought suitable packing boxes and bowl sizes for different types of candles, including Ras malai, Rasgulla, Gulab Jamun, and Gajar Halwa.
Promotion of these sweet-themed candles began on our Instagram page. We later connected with Knock Sense Group, specifically through their employee “Harsh,” leading to our participation in their events through stalls.
The primary goal was to create creative candles in the form of Sweets, with Diwali identified as an opportune time.
Currently, Wrapstar Studios offers a diverse range of products, including Return Birthdays Gifts, Theme-Based return birthday gifts, Candles with a Mithai Look, Wrapping Gifts, Unique Stationary Products, and Resin Bases Products.
Recognising the growing market on social media platforms, we plan to continue our online presence, connecting with e-commerce platforms, social media, and other online channels. Additionally, we maintain a retail store to accommodate those curious about our physical location.
At Wrapstar Studios, we celebrate creative ideas in gifting solutions and the entrepreneurial spirit of women. The process of making candles, along with their wrapping and packaging, involves collaboration between myself, my mother-in-law, and my grandmother (Nani).
