Ar. Surabhi Kumari, a trained professional with an experience of approx 10 years in architecture and interior design, leads M/s Sucupirah Designs (OPC).
She is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture, India, with an active membership in IIA and IIID. Accreditations and certifications like USGBC LEED AP, IGBC AP, Griha Certified Professional, and EDGE Expert vet her passion for the design of built-environment and sustainability.
Residential Villa
This villa was designed for a location in Jharkhand, which is blessed with amazing weather and pristine natural beauty. The owner wanted a classy yet contemporary design with a tropical feel on this north-oriented 1500 sq m plot.
The grand facade of the villa faces a large, lush lawn with a temple at the entrance. An outdoor Bon-fire seating area with pools and walkways is part of the design. The grand dining room overlooks the personal courtyard in front and the landscaped area in the rear.
Apart from the above, the villa housed 4 bedrooms, a guest room, a gym, an entertainment room, a family room, a hobby room, an office, and a separate service yard with kitchen.
Zen Garden
The Buddhist Landscaping style is the inspiration for the design of this garden.. The concept design comprises pools with flora and fauna, gazebos seating for serene, calm, and meditating solitary avenues. The garden’s focal point is the central sculpture made of Onyx stone, which is lit from inside.
The landscape comprises three layers of interconnected pathways which are embedded in lush green lawns and tropical plants with water streams flowing across them.
